Lori Chicoyne

Lori, owner of Affinity Business Development, LLC, serves as Strategic Consultant for RND focused on corporate growth, visibility, and client and project development. With 30 years’ experience in the built environment, she is skilled in business development, strategic positioning and planning, pursuit planning and management, marketing, and corporate visibility. She has a successful history at engineering firms focused on the transportation and public and private development industries.
Prior to founding Affinity Business Development, LLC, Lori has effectively directed the marketing and business development efforts in the New England region for large, medium, and small organizations. She builds teams on the premise of collaboration, communication, and innovation with an infusion of energy. Lori thrives on bringing people together by creating strong and vibrant cultures. A diversity, equity, and inclusion activist, Lori played a key role in instituting a corporate DEI program and continues to promote and support historically marginalized groups in the industry.
An advocate and active leader in industry organizations, she is currently on ACEC/MA’s Golf Committee and recently served as co-chair of the ACEC/MA DEI Forum. For WTS, an active member since 1997, she currently serves as the Northeast Regional Council Representative and was Co-Chair for the 2019 WTS International Conference held in Boston. Earlier in her career, Lori served as President of SMPS Boston and continues to mentor young marketing and technical professionals in the industry.
