Project Description:

RND worked with the City of Worcester to demolish a building that sits adjacent to a P&W Railroad bridge. The railroad bridge overhang is integrated with the building structure. RND coordinated the efforts of structural analysis, field visits and construction oversite, environmental analysis, and reviewing demolition plans for the contractor to safely demolish the structure.

Role:

RND was the Owners Project Manager for the demolition of a building
located under a railroad viaduct. RND managed all work efforts including
monitoring cost, schedules, and risks. RND also coordinated with the
subconsultants, subcontractors, and the P&W Railroad. Additionally, RND
conducted building visual inspections and construction management/ administration.
