RND Consultants is supporting the MBTA A&E Services for Station Accessibility Improvements projects at North, Arlington and Sullivan Stations. RND provides design review services, value engineering, survey and utility coordination, land acquisition services, 3D modeling and civil design support. RND’s professional services help provide more accessible services to customers with the expansion of elevators and escalators and a safer way serve and connect the community with an improved transit system.

RND is coordinating efforts for utility relocations, coordinating with utility companies for utilities that need to be supported in place or relocated during design and designing utility network diagrams. RND is also assisting with surface redesign of ADA compliant ramps, crosswalk designs, TMP plans and pedestrian network diagrams. RND helped the prime find new and unique solutions to improve one of the oldest stations in Boston and increase safety and accessibility
