SCDOT I26 at I95 - Owners Project Management Services
Orangeburg County, SC

Project Description:

The reconstruction of the existing I-26 at I-95 Interchange in Orangeburg County, South Carolina will help improve congestion and traffic delays along this corridor. The need for operational improvements stems from the current cloverleaf on and off loop ramps which result in numerous rear ends, sideswipe crashes and weaving and merging traffic accidents, delays, and congestion. The South Carolina Departments of Transportation (SCDOT) will reconstruct the existing system interchange to include full reconstruction of the current ramps, acceleration and deceleration of lane tie-ins, and the replacement of the S-38-1302 bridge over I-26.
