MBTA: Green Line Extension

Project Description:

​

The GLX project received FTA New Starts funds to extend the existing MBTA Green Line service to the communities of Cambridge, Somerville, and Medford. The project involves construction of 6 new stations, 4.3 miles of Light Rail and Commuter Rail Tracks, a vehicle maintenance and storage facility, reconstruction of bridges and viaducts, roadways, intersections, and community path. RND managed the TOD Projects along the GLX corridor including Third Party Agreement and Memorandum of Agreements providing economic development opportunities in the region.
