Project Description:
The MBTA is updating Central Square Station to meet current accessibility requirements. Specifically, the project includes replacing an existing elevator, constructing two new elevators and replacing escalators. The two new elevators and the renovation of the existing elevator require extensive station modifications to accommodate the construction of new shafts and machine & electrical rooms.RND provided program management, real estate acquisition and engineering support services that contributed to the success of the project currently being constructed.
