Project Description:

​RND Consultants is supporting the MBTA with general engineering consulting services for design and construction for infrastructure and facility improvements, modernization, and rehabilitation projects. RND provides support to the transit/commuter rail, bus, and ferry infrastructure asset types.

RND is assisting the MBTA by providing a project team. The RND project team is responsible for project management, Project Engineering, Quality

Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Management, Cost Estimating,

Design and Construction Phase Scheduler, and Municipal Liaison.

RND QA/QC manager is tasked with the responsibility of identifying quality problems, initiate, recommend or provide solutions to the MBTA Project Manager, and utilize the MBTA’s Quality Assurance Procedures Manual and documents.

Role:

RND is acting as an extension of staff to the MBTA and is assisting with project management, quality assurance and control services.
