RND Welcomes Graham Briggs as Our New Director of Program Management and Project Controls

RND is excited to announce that Graham Briggs, PE has joined our team as Program Management/Project Controls Director. RND is expanding service offerings to include Project Controls and Graham will be responsible for implementing this strategic initiative.

 

Graham has a proven history of effectively overseeing teams and projects within the public and private sector. He is skilled in formulating and deploying program and project management information system (PMIS) tools and database dashboards, project controls methodologies, project planning, scheduling, forecasting, risk management, and performance monitoring and reporting using the latest technologies, across diverse industries such as transit/transportation, equipment manufacturing, energy sectors, and pioneering life science companies.

 

Throughout his career, Graham’s efforts have focused on enhancing project management and process improvement protocols to streamline operations, diminish inefficiencies, enhance technical acumen among staff, and optimize performance across all project phases. He has a strategic mindset to drive growth and excellence across diverse projects with a focus on client satisfaction.

RND Welcomes Marie Breen
RND Consultants, Inc. (RND), the real estate consulting, engineering, and construction services firm, welcomes Marie Breen as Vice President. In her role, Marie will work with public clients to facilitate state and federal procurement processes, Transit Oriented Development (TOD) transactions, establish public-private partnership strategies and agreements, provide program management advisory services for complex projects, including identifying and mitigating project procurement issues and risks. In addition, she will oversee company operations to meet client’s needs, and ensure the goals and objectives of the firm and projects are advancing while providing leadership, advice, mentoring and support as needed for the successful completion of RND’s projects. 

Before joining RND, Marie was a Senior Executive, Chief Legal Officer, and General Counsel for MassDOT and MBTA from 2017 to 2022.  She has more than twenty-five years of experience in public and private sector legal and business management with a deep understanding of the challenges facing state procurement issues, incentivizing development around transportation, developing legal and policy strategies for key initiatives, and managing a wide range of legal services for state agencies. Her expertise in alternative project delivery methods, including design-build contracting and alternative project delivery methods, puts her on the forefront of facilitating infrastructure investments.

2022 Metro Leadership Visit (MLV)

RND is honored to sponsor the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce Leadership in Boston!  The 2022 Metro Leadership Visit (MLV) offers a unique opportunity to explore Boston – a city founded

around the same time as Charleston and that shares many similarities to our region.  Along with hearing lessons learned and best practices, attendees will engage with fellow leaders and

influencers from our region, creating and building important relationships.  Many exciting programs are lined up including Boston’s comprehensive approach to:

  • Addressing equity and resiliency

  • Building the world’s top biotech hub and the importance of innovation and university partnerships

  • Obtaining regional attainable housing strategies

  • Maintaining a legacy rapid transit system and the importance of Transit Oriented Development (TOD)
